Our Purpose
The Wyoming Community Hospital Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation whose mission is to enhance the services, programs and patient care provided to the community by the hospital and nursing facility through increased philanthropic support. By fund raising, investing, and effective management, the Foundation raises important funds for programs, services, and equipment not fully funded by health care dollars. The Foundation is overseen by a volunteer board of leading citizens and managed by professionals knowledgeable of the hospital's needs. In addition to responding to current hospital requests, the Foundation also identifies emerging issues and stimulates resources to address such issues, helping the hospital and nursing facility for the future. When individuals, businesses, and foundations make a gift to the Wyoming Community Hospital Foundation, they become part of the ongoing mission of the Foundation to make a difference in meeting the needs of today and the challenge of tomorrow.
