MacKenzie’s experience in other long-term care facilities and his desire to interact one-on-one with residents and staff were the reasons the Board of Managers of WCCH chose to hire MacKenzie.  | By Keirsten Shaffer, on Wed, 07/13/2011 - 8:00pm WCCHS has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in mammography as the result of a recent review by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Mammography is a specific type of imaging test that uses a low-dose x-ray system to examine breasts. A mammography exam, called a mammogram, is used to aid in the early detection and diagnosis of breast diseases in women. Read More |

Ross Thompson set up a private practice in his West Buffalo Street home. He eventually began performing surgery there and made room for five beds for those requiring hospitalization. Read More |
