WCCHS Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer

Wyoming County Community Health System (WCCHS) is very pleased to announce that Mark Wright will be joining the health system as Chief Financial Officer on June 6, 2022.

Mark has extensive healthcare leadership experience with more than 30 years in healthcare finance. Most recently, he served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, a position he held since August 2019.  Prior to that, Wright served as Vice President of Finance for A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta, NY for 22 years.  Before those roles, he was Controller at St. Joseph Hospital in Elmira, NY and Director of Finance at Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt, NY.

Wright was born and raised in the Catskill region near Oneonta, NY.  He holds a B.A., Business Administration from Siena College in Albany, NY.  Following his graduation from Siena, he joined the accounting firm Coopers and Lybrand in Albany, during which time he obtained his Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) license.
