Warsaw, New York, June 10, 2019 – Wyoming County Community Health System today announced a major expansion of its services with the addition of Family Practice Services in Warsaw and Arcade, NY.

In addition to hiring three new physician providers who will provide services at the two locations, WCCHS’s affiliate, Wyoming County Family Medicine, P.C., is also acquiring the medical practices of DALE L. DEAHN, M.D., P.C., at 401 Main Street, Arcade and the Arcade practice of WNY MEDICAL, P.C., which provides services at 263 Liberty Street, Arcade.

Dale L. Deahn M.D. has operated a successful physician practice in the Arcade community since 1985 and will continue to provide patient services as well as serve as Medical Director of the Family Practice Group.

WNY MEDICAL, P.C., is comprised of Dr. Gordon Comstock’s former practice.  Dr. Comstock has been in practice for 38 plus years and is very glad that family practice will still be serving people at this site.

The approximately 33 providers and staff currently working at the two Arcade locations are expected to remain with WCCHS and approximately 10 new staff including the three physician providers are expected to be added at the Warsaw and Arcade locations.

The transactions are expected to be completed and the WCCHS ‘s affiliated Family Practice Group  is expected to begin providing Family Practice Services in July 2019.

WCCHS also plans to make over $150,000 of renovations and equipment upgrades to the Arcade locations in coming months.

Current patients of the practices of Dale L. Deahn, M.D., P.C. and WNY Medical, P.C., in Arcade will continue to see their current provider and experience little change.  Individuals interested in learning more as the Family Practice Group becomes operational can call (585) 786-1541 for information or go to www.wcchs.net/familycare.

In Warsaw, the Family Practice Group will be located within the clinic area of the hospital at 400 North Main Street and Arcade services will be provided at 401 Main Street and 263 Liberty Street, Arcade.

The new physician providers are completing their residency at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, NY.  Sydney Domanowski, DO of Holland, NY and Tracy Fabian, DO are due to join the practice in August 2019 and are passionate to provide primary care services including routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunization, screening tests, and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle.  Dr. Domanowski will also be providing Obstetric services and will be spending the majority of her time in Arcade.

WCCHS CEO Donald Eichenauer stated, “Family care services has long been identified as a need in our community due to an overall rural shortage and a significant number of quality family practice provider retirements.  WCCHS has been working to address this shortage and we are very excited to provide these needed services.”  He further stated, “WCCHS plans to have many of their other specialists including surgery, orthopaedics, and OB/GYN provide services at the Arcade locations.”
