Radiology & Imaging Services

At Wyoming County Community Health System, we combine advanced imaging technology with trusted expertise to deliver accurate results — right here, close to home.

A board-certified Radiologist Physician interprets every imaging study, ensuring high-quality, reliable results. Your healthcare provider receives a detailed report following review, and when you enroll in our patient portal, your imaging results are also available directly to you.

Accredited for Quality & Safety

WCCHS is proud to be accredited by the American College of Radiology for Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, CT, and Ultrasound services.

To achieve this distinction, we voluntarily undergo a rigorous review process to meet nationally accepted standards, including:

  • Personnel qualifications
  • Equipment testing by a certified Medical Physicist
  • Ongoing quality assurance
  • Strict safety protocols

This accreditation reflects our ongoing commitment to delivering safe, accurate, and high-quality imaging for our community.

NEW: CT Cardiac Calcium Scoring

Take a proactive approach to your heart health.

WCCHS now offers CT Cardiac Calcium Scoring, a fast, non-invasive scan that measures calcium buildup in the coronary arteries—an early indicator of heart disease.

This screening can help:

  • Identify risk before symptoms appear
  • Guide conversations about prevention and treatment
  • Provide valuable insight into your overall heart health

The scan requires no injections or contrast and is typically completed in just minutes.

3D Mammography – A Better Mammogram

WCCHS is proud to offer the Hologic Selenia® Dimensions® 3D Mammography System—the first of its kind in Wyoming County.

This advanced breast tomosynthesis technology has set the standard in mammography screening, offering proven clinical advantages over traditional 2D imaging, including:

  • Low-dose 3D mammography
  • Rapid 3.7-second scan time
  • Exceptionally sharp images
  • Advanced clinical applications
  • Ergonomic design for patient comfort
  • Detection of 20–65% more invasive breast cancers compared to 2D alone
  • Reduced callbacks by up to 40% compared to 2D alone
  • FDA-noted as “superior” for women with dense breast tissue compared to 2D alone

Available on the WCCHS campus, we’ve got your breast health needs covered—right here, close to home.
