Our Purpose
Established in 1994, the Wyoming Community Hospital Foundation is a Not-for-Profit corporation whose mission is to enhance the services, programs, and patient care provided to the community by Wyoming County Community Health System (WCCHS) through increased philanthropic support. By fundraising, investing, and effectively managing, the Foundation raises important funds for programs, services, and equipment not fully funded by healthcare dollars. The Foundation is overseen by a volunteer board of leading citizens and managed by professionals, who are knowledgeable of the hospital’s needs. In addition to responding to current requests, the Foundation also identifies emerging issues and stimulates resources to address such issues, which prepares WCCHS for the future. When individuals, businesses, and foundations make a gift to the Wyoming Community Hospital Foundation, they become part of the ongoing mission of the Foundation to make a difference in meeting the needs of today and the challenge of tomorrow.
